Join us for a joyful day of mindfulness in celebration of Earth Day. Let us look deeply into the gifts the natural world offers and the solidity given to us by Mother Earth. We will explore the wisdom of the cycles of the seasons and our lives, persistence and resilience of nature and our practice, and the realities of impermanence. Deepening our relationship to the earth, we will find ways to make offerings of love for her protection.
During this day we will practice mindful sitting, walking, eating, deep relaxation and touching the earth. There will be a dharma talk and time for creative expression and sharing.
PLACE: Humboldt Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 24 Fellowship Way, Bayside, CA. Directions to the HUUF can be found here.
TIME: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (please arrive by 9:45 to settle in).
COST: A donation of $30, no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. Offerings of ‘dana’ for our teacher will be invited.
